INTERPOL Join Hunt for Okoro Prince Nkemakolam

The Nigeria Police Force has declared Okoro Prince Nkemakolam wanted over multiple criminal allegations, including conspiracy, attempted murder, assault, threat to life, fraud, and breach of trust.

The declaration was published on Thursday through a Special Police Gazette Bulletin shared on the Force’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

According to the bulletin, an arrest warrant for Nkemakolam was issued by the High Court of Abuja. The case is currently under the supervision of the Office of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police (INTERPOL) and the National Central Bureau at Force Headquarters, Abuja.

“The above-named person is hereby declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force. A warrant of arrest was issued against him by the High Court of Abuja,” the notice read.

Police reports allege that the 38-year-old suspect attacked a complainant with both a machete and a knife, inflicting severe injuries to the head and body which required extensive medical stitching. The victim, according to authorities, “escaped death by the whiskers.”

Nkemakolam is described as being of medium height and build, with a copper complexion and a square-shaped face. He usually dresses in Western-style clothing and speaks fluent Igbo.

He was last sighted in the Umobo community, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, within the Benin/Abakaliki axis.
